The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Hormozgan was established in 2019. The aim of this department is the scientific development and training experts who can fulfill the needs of educational and research centers as well as research and development (R&D) in industries, especially petroleum and petrochemicals. Publishing of high quality articles, as well as running several industrial project such as designing industrial mixers, finding defects of industrial devices using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and solving the problems and pollutant removal and wastewater treatment have been the honors of the chemical engineering department in recent years. At present, the chemical engineering department has 4 educational and 1 research laboratories. This department has 4 full-time faculty members, including 1 associate professor and 3 assistant professors.
Currently, the department of chemical engineering at the university of Hormozgan admit BSc students in the general field of chemical engineering and MSc students in transport phenomenon field.
